Public Agenda is looking for a graphic designer to build approximately 18 charts for a research report based on survey data of Americans covered by health insurance provided by their own or a family member’s current or former employer or union. The report will be publicly available on Public Agenda’s website. Public Agenda will identify and provide the data for each chart.
Charts need to be built using the Everviz platform (we will provide the login) and will be designed to represent the full survey responses, along with differences in responses by subpopulation such as political identity or race/ethnicity. Typically we use bar charts, pie charts and dot plots, but we are open to different styles of graphs that can accurately represent data while grabbing readers’ attention. Examples of our desired final product can be seen here.
Public Agenda will have data available by August 19th. Design work will need to conclude by Friday, September 6th and should include three rounds of review and edits in the timeline. To apply, please send information about your hourly rate, an estimate of the total number of hours you’ll require to complete this project, and examples of relevant past work to press@publicagenda.org.
