Haystack Data Solutions is helping transform how food & ag companies harvest data for a better future. We are a fast-growing, minority-owned analytics agency looking for a creative Power BI freelance developer to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for a work-from-home developer who wants a flexible work schedule. Must be able to work at least 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Pull data from client databases on Microsoft Fabric.
  • Connect Power BI to source systems & files.
  • Work with Project Manager and client to understand requirements.
  • Build intuitive and beautiful dashboards and reports.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Independently solve complex technical problems.

Requirements:

  • Experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI.
  • Familiar with strategies for acquiring data from a variety of data sources.
  • Experience creating and troubleshooting DAX measures, Power Query/M, and SQL queries.
  • Familiar with data modeling, data preparation, and data visualization best practices to present professional and intuitive reports.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Experience with Azure cloud.
