Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer 2, you will assist in design discussions, lead execution of feature work, and mentor junior engineers.  You will be directly involved with developing and delivering innovative features and great end-user experiences for Power BI customers, responsible for efficient execution and delivering projects on time with high quality.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with tech leads and architects, product managers, and design team to plan and implement  features that enable us to reach our business objectives
• Monitor execution, provide code reviews, build systems and add telemetry to identify patterns and opportunities, and bring ideas and solutions to the table

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Advanced Sciences
• 4+ years of professional development experience designing, coding and debugging
• Experience driving clarity on functional requirements, breaking out tasks, and executing on those tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Web Development / SPA experience with technologies such as  Angular / React / TypeScript
• Familiar with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
• Prior experience working with data visualizations, report creation, or analytics
• Familiarity with any enterprise BI tool
