We are seeking an experienced Data Visualisation Specialist to improve the user experience and design of Analytics reports and dashboards for customers using MS Power BI.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Gather requirements from the end-users, collate and design the layout and structure of MS Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Design dashboards and reports supported by domain best practices to maximize user’s adoption.
• Design cross-functional reports and dashboards to improve monitoring over standard indicators across roles.
• Optimize and discover new design solutions for the current wallet of dashboards, reports, and scorecards.
• Create technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions.
• Deliver high-quality reusable Power BI reports and dashboards as per business requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including VP’s and EVP’s in order to provide support and advice on various data presentation related issues .
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to improve reporting and analytics

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or 5 years of hands-on data visualization experience.
• Experienced on Interaction Design, User Interface (UI), User Experience (UX), User Flows, wireframes, hi-fidelity prototypes and detailed design specifications.
• Understanding of data visualization best practices and essential graphics theory.
• Participate in daily scrum meetings, agile planning sessions, and stakeholder reviews.
• Problem solver with critical thinking skills including an aptitude to adapt to change and thrive in a dynamic organization .
• Highly motivated to work in an open team environment, employing a collaborative, continuous improvement, and innovation mindset.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to manage information, data, and correspondence on multiple levels.
• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work independently and cross-functionally with stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Exceptional judgment and discretion when dealing with confidential matters and working collaboratively with others.
• Experience with prototyping tools like Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite of Design Applications

STAND OUT WITH …

• 5 years or more of design or development experience with Power BI and one of the following data visualization tools: Tableau, Qlik, Alteryx.
• Experience in using and configuring MS PowerBI UX/UI to deliver Dashboards and Reports.
• Experience with use or implementation of design systems
• Custom data visualization experience using Javascript, R, CSS, HTML5, and/or d3.js.
• Industry experience in any of the following financial services: products, high tech, healthcare, government, communications.
