Graphicacy, a mission driven data visualization, design and interactive studio, is recruiting an experienced project manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate for this role will be passionate about project management and will be capable of working with our team to deliver cutting-edge digital experiences for Graphicacy’s clients to continue to set Graphicacy apart as a leader in innovative and well designed digital products.

Graphicacy creates unique products that solve data and interactive challenges in new and engaging ways, so we’re looking for someone who can see the whole board, communicate effectively, and think creatively about how to build great products.

About the Role

• Further professionalize our team’s project management process to more effectively and efficiently deliver our client projects on time and on budget.
• Optimize workflows and tools for collaboration and communication, helping our team remain passionate about our work from project to project.
• Work with Graphicacy’s design and engineering teams to build effective project plans that take into account detailed design and engineering milestones and deliverables.
• Be a part of Graphicacy’s client facing team to liaise with Graphicacy’s clients to plan around key milestones and communicate project plans directly to our client partners.Help the team resolve issues as they come up, and raise them with design and engineering management to clear project blockers.
• Be the source of truth for the state of the team’s projects by reporting on key project metrics and milestones.

About You

• You have been a Project Manager at a design or creative agency, within the software services or IT industry.
• You have a deep understanding of the entire lifecycle of web and mobile-responsive development projects.
• You are experienced at helping teams estimate their work, plan for the future, demonstrate success, and communicate timely updates.
• You have helped multiple teams optimize and adapt their development process to succeed for different personalities and needs.
• You care deeply about maintaining a sustainable software development process where design, engineering, and you collaborate.
• You love team building and facilitation, including leading meetings, and problem resolution/mediation.
• You have led projects involving technical operations and new software product/service development.
• You know how to effectively work with remote team members and business partners.
• You ask smart questions, take risks and champion new ideas.
• You have a passion for learning and self-improvement.
• Bonus: You are PMP certified or possess technical product management certifications.
• Bonus: You have experience with managing the federal acquisition and delivery of contracts pertaining to data visualizations or analytics products and services.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary ranging from $90k to $120k, commensurate with experience.
