Our client is seeking a Senior Digital Analyst, Adobe Analytics to join their Analytics & Optimization team – as a full-time employee or on long-term contract. This team member will work closely with a team of Analytics Architects, Analysts, and Engineers to produce and present insightful & articulate analyses and performance reporting. This role will provide front-line support to internal and external stakeholders with questions on web performance, tool implementation, and deliverable schedules. A successful candidate will utilize business & marketing knowledge, problem solving, and analytical skills to understand how complex things work – and make them work better!
Here’s the job:
• Performing strategic analysis of website and activity data to solve challenges and identify opportunities related to website performance, customer intent, and marketing campaign performance. You will be spotting meaningful trends, identifying drivers and root-causes, and conducting gap analyses while providing actionable recommendations based on this data.
• Collaborating internally to ensure that deliverable schedules are met, and clear expectations set with client stakeholders.
• Communicating results of data analysis and reporting clearly to non-technical stakeholders by providing actionable recommendations (marketing and technical) based on this data. Additionally, you will be condensing large (and sometimes disparate) data sets and analyses into memorable take-aways.
• Building and presenting marketing channel and competitive analyses.
• Helping Clients and internal stakeholders utilize their web analytics toolsets better. This will include answering data & reporting-related questions, assisting in the configuration of Adobe Analytics, and providing strategic recommendations to clients on tools.
Your qualifications:
• Has 3+ years of experience in Digital Analytics, using Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or other similar tools, with at least 1 – 2 years using Adobe Analytics. The Adobe Analytics Business Practitioner Certification is preferred, or ability to receive within three months from start date.
• Is a problem solver; has analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills.
• Enjoys the challenge of simplifying complex data, processes, and concepts to highlight key insights and guide decision making.
• Has strong written, verbal, data visualization and presentation skills. Your presentations are cohesive, visually compelling, and should tell a story.
• Has experience managing work: account management and project management skills are strongly preferred. Your task-oriented discipline lends towards your ability to manage concurrent, competing priorities across clients.
• Understands how to effectively build reports and extract data from Adobe Analytics, whether from Analysis Workspace, Data Warehouse, or by building Excel reports with Report Builder.
• Has an eye for quality control and is detail oriented.
• Is an Excel master. You appreciate vlookups but know your way around other indexing formulas (or have a desire to learn!). You must be able to debug existing templates and formulas.
• Have a strong desire to learn new skills and keep up with the latest industry trends.
Optional but definitely a plus if you have:
• Paid media and/or financial, hospitality, or eCommerce industry experience – this is highly preferred.
• Previous media agency experience or have worked in an environment similar to an agency where they are reporting to multiple stakeholders on a regular basis. It is plus, but not required.
• Analytics Debugging experience (leveraging tools like Omnibug and Adobe Experience Cloud
