PwC is seeking a Senior Data Visualization Editor in the UK or USA to join the Integrated Content Centre of Excellence, which is a critical component of PwC’s Global Marketing Organization (GMO).

This group creates relevance, distinctiveness and growth for the PwC brand and business. We work together with the global and territory marketing leaders to deliver go-to-market priorities and enable sales and marketing excellence across the network.

The Role:

The Data Visualization Editor will collaborate with practice leaders and multimedia experts to create innovation that helps PwC tell great visual stories, using data and frameworks where “a picture is worth a thousand words” and in doing so help PwC reach busy senior executives in ways that support, amplify and extend longer form content.

Preferred Experience:

Comprehensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader in the following areas:

Demonstrating skills in data-visualization design coupled with business-math literacy and highly effective writing skills;

Possessing editorial judgment and experience in employing visuals, charts, and the written word to convert complex ideas into a simple and powerful visual story;

Identifying insights lurking in datasets, complex graphs, or PowerPoint presentations and to choose the most effective visual format for communicating them;

Demonstrating knowledge of data-visualization best practices and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards in execution and accuracy;

Developing “digitally native” data visualizations, understanding that they must work well across multiple channels including print; experience in evaluating designs based on user metrics and UI/UX best practices;

Having a passion for innovation in how management data and facts are conveyed;
Demonstrating exceptional ability to collaborate productively and in a peer-like fashion with a wide range of colleagues across roles and tenures, including editors, consultants, functional experts, and designers;

Influencing skills, including exceptional diplomacy;

Demonstrating network-building skills, being comfortable creating internal networks to boost access to knowledge and increase effectiveness;

able to cultivate and draw on an external network of freelance designers and vendors;

Demonstrating fluency in Adobe Illustrator, familiarity with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; understanding of statistics; and,

Having familiarity with templated data visualization platforms such as Flourish, Tableau and/or PowerBi
