A career in our Data and Analytics Hub (“D&A Hub”) within PwC’s Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to combine consulting and industry expertise with data science capabilities. We use descriptive and predictive analytical techniques to incorporate internal, third-party, and proprietary data to help answer questions and design solutions to our most pressing business issues.

This is a newly formed team that will leverage data to rapidly discover, quantify, and deliver through intelligent analytics and scalable end-to-end business solutions. Working initially across the domains of Finance, Sales & Marketing, and Human Capital, the group will help drive analytics adoption across the Firm, accelerating value delivery, developing in-house talent, and building solutions and trust in data-driven decision making.

What you’ll create and do

As a Manager you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Focus on defining best practices around dashboard development, testing, access management and scheduling
• Define and translate business needs and requirements into designing, building and deploying Microsoft Power BI reports, focusing on delivering insights and stakeholder value
• Lead by example by designing powerful user-focused content in line with our design standards, and provide improvements to solutions based on own knowledge and feedback from stakeholders
• Assess the data requirements and data quality needed to connect data sources to Microsoft Power BI reports, and where needed test and/or provide effective problem resolutions based on available data
• Ensure performance, security and availability of databases to allow timely reflection of data to the various dashboard tools
• Collaborate with data engineers on architecture required to support Microsoft Power BI applications and ensure sustainable and timely data pipelines
• Collaborate across multiple product and project teams with practical experience delivering projects using agile methodologies including Scrum and SAFe
• Deliver concepts through presentations and reports to technical and nontechnical audiences at various levels
• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses, and perform troubleshooting as necessary
• Execute and deliver design reviews and technical demos with project teams and internal stakeholders to obtain feedback on the quality and data accessibility of the dashboard solutions
• Proactively identify and communicate dependencies, issues, risks and, or barriers to completing visualizations, and escalate to appropriate project stakeholders and, or supervisors
• Prioritize and handle multiple tasks; researching and analyzing pertinent internal stakeholder, industry, and technical matters
• Interpersonal and collaborative skills and the ability to share complex Microsoft Power BI dashboards to non-technical audiences

What you’ll bring to this role

• Demonstrated experience in professional services or related industries
• Experience in a data visualization tools
• Advanced Knowledge in data analytic and visualization platform Microsoft Power BI
• Basic knowledge of Machine Learning and AI
• Basic knowledge in data transformation, data cleansing and development of analytical and statistical models based on design methodology
• Excellent discretion when dealing with sensitive information
• Consistently message and promote D&A strategy across the business
• Prioritize and handle multiple tasks; researching and analyzing pertinent internal stakeholder, industry, and technical matters
• Communicates clearly and effectively with technical stakeholders and non-technical audiences
• Comfortable delivering advice and taking feedback in high-pressure environments
• Ability to communicate to both senior leadership and junior team members to translate requests and manage timelines
• Translate business needs into dashboards, with a specific understanding of how client demands turn into technical dashboard solutions
• Proactively identify enhancements and updates to dashboards to improve quality of solutions provided
