Are you a Product Designer who loves data visualization and wants to make an impact at a small, growing organization? Look no further!

Catalate is looking for a Product Designer that will lead the direction of the user- experiences we offer across our consumer facing and B2B suite of products.

The ideal candidate will identify as a design generalist who loves data. While the primary focus will be on UX and usability, we’re looking for someone with solid visual design competence as well. This role will likely split time between managing our design pipeline, running user interviews, creating polished UI designs and completing one-off visual design jobs that other teams may need.

We’re looking for someone with experience in all phases of the design process: user research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing. Due to Catalate’s work both in B2B and B2C, you’ll be effective at engaging and influencing a variety of audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the direction of Catalate’s design future. Own our Style Guides and Brand Guides.
  • Design eye catching visual interfaces within the constraints of a style guide.
  • Evaluate design ideas through usability testing with users.
  • Split time between the design work for the product pipeline, running user interviews and completing one-off visual design jobs that other teams may need.
  • Iterate on designs based on feedback from developers.
  • Set design requirements based on information from internal teams and user research.
  • Identify new product improvement opportunities and analyze how our products satisfy market needs and consumer preferences.
  • Coordinate with the Prod/Dev team to ensure consistent and accurate communication.
  • Present product design ideas to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
