Using native Microsoft Office design tools, the Information and Visual Designer creates visuals that present information in a clear and engaging way. Working with and learning from the Senior Information & Visual Design Specialist, this role involves collaborating with internal groups across the firm to understand their needs and creating attractive visuals that are consistent with the firm’s brand. Our team provides day-to-day data visualization support to lawyers, business services and other members within the firm.

Role & Responsibilities:  

• Collaborate with internal clients to understand their needs and requirements
• Utilize Microsoft Office and native design tools to create visuals, infographics, charts and presentations
• Assist with the redesign/refresh of existing presentations and graphics
• Work on elements of complex design solutions, under the guidance of the Senior Information and Visual Design Specialist
• Design work product in alignment with the firm’s brand guidelines
• Assist with the development of support tools, resources and templates that help internal clients create and edit visuals and charts
• Contribute your ideas and solutions to enhance the services provided by our team

Qualifications

Knowledge & Experience: 

• 3+ years of graphic, visual, UX design experience in an office environment (professional services experience in B2B environment is a plus)
• Experience working with Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint, Word and Excel, with an emphasis on PowerPoint and, particularly, design tools native to these applications (experience with SharePoint is a plus)
• Strong understanding of visual design principles, including chart design and concepts
