FiscalNote is hiring for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our Data Science team!

We’re looking for someone who enjoys extending and generalizing Python services, specifically scaling ML solutions to integrate with our frontend web applications and monitoring tools. Our team primarily uses Python and NLP wrapped in CI/CD tools like Docker + Flask + Databricks + Kubernetes to create data science pipelines and service for search and information retrieval, recommendation engine, and knowledge graph use cases – all on top of state/federal/local/international government and public policy datasets.

Location: USA-based – remote or offices in DC, NYC, Baton Rouge – offices are come as you please / no requirements – my team is half remote and half DC-based
Salary: $140K-$150K base compensation for 2-4 years experience, negotiable for senior+ experience
