What is it?

Data & Design (https://dataanddesign.ie/) is a one-man data visualisation studio founded by Rudi O’Reilly Meehan based out of Ireland. Founded in 2022, I work with a mixture of public and private sector clients around bringing their data to life. Notable clients in the last 6 months include Dublin City Council, Accenture and OpenAI (!)

Every summer, I hire a paid, fully remote intern for 3 months.

I mainly use the combination of Svelte and D3.JS for data visualisation, incorporating other libraries where needed, e.g. OpenAI, GSAP. I think there is so much potential to do more in this space! So I am seeking an intern to work on a mixture of client work, expanding our tech stack and working together on a public data visualisation project for Culture Night in Ireland at the end of  October.

What are the essentials?

• High proficiency in Svelte/SvelteKit
• High proficiency in D3.JS
• High proficiency in Python or R
• Available to work from 1st August 2024
• Enthusiasm and ability to work autonomously
