About the role
We’re seeking a commercially-minded, product-savvy Creative Technologist who’s ready to act as a fractional CTO, helping us move from high-quality implementation to top-heavy strategic growth.
You’ll sit at the intersection of AI, data consultancy, and client enablement, building functional proofs-of-concept that excite stakeholders, fast-track solutions, and pave the way for scalable services.
You’ll work closely with leading project managers, designers, and strategists to evolve how we deliver data-led impact at scale, getting your kick from collaborating with some of the best designers in the game to craft avant-garde, user-centred solutions that embody our ‘data intelligence, beautifully designed’ ethos.
What you’ll do
Sales & strategic solutions
– Attend early-stage client calls to qualify opportunities and co-create solution directions
– Translate client problems into actionable PoCs and pitch decks rooted in AI/data capability
– Enable our delivery pods to win and grow accounts with confidence
Leadership & product thinking
– Guide the transition from projects to products using agile methods and lean thinking
– Build internal buy-in around future-facing solutions and internal enablement tools
– Foster a modern engineering culture focused on value creation, not just delivery
Data & AI expertise
– Lead applied R&D in areas such as LLMs, embeddings, agentic frameworks and automation
– Prototype agentic workflows, smart assistants or microtools that can scale
– Reimagine our portfolio with AI lenses and identify repeatable opportunities
You’ll thrive if you have
Proven leadership in fast-moving, data-rich environments – ideally within boutique consultancies, startups or data design agencies
Sales fluency – confident helping shape and close strategic deals, with or without a formal BD team
Hands-on AI capability – from prompt engineering and vector databases to LangGraph, CrewAI or similar frameworks
PoC-to-Product mindset – you know how to test fast and spot paths to scale
Cross-functional fluency – you can guide teams of PMs, designers, and analysts toward shared outcomes
Comfort with ambiguity and autonomy – fractional by nature, entrepreneurial in spirit
